Cooking @ Sunway Resort Suite

I went to Sunway this weekend for a weekend break. We went there in a group of 5 and we decided to cook there as cooking utensils are all provided. On Friday, we are all filled with excitement as we shop for things and ingredients that we might be needed on that day. Yes. We are overjoyed. We are staying only for a night but there are plenty of things in our shopping list as if we will be there forever.

On Saturday, we had Nasi Lemak for breakfast before heading to our destination. When we arrived there, it is already 12 something noon. After playing around in the room and now we realized that we are going to cook dinner. Menu that we had planned is Rosemary Chicken as main course with blanch vegetable, mash potato, coleslaw, fried prawns as appetizer, tomato soup(this is soup in a can), baked macaroni and cheese and a last minute dessert - parfait.

Here it is. Rosemary Chicken. Everything goes well as planned. It looks tempting rite...
Rosemary Chicken Recipe:
4 Chicken breast
2 tsp rosemary powder
2 tsp black pepper
1 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 lemon juice

1. Marinade chicken breast with rosemary powder, black pepper, salt, olive oil for 2 hours.
2. Heat a pan and pour in some cooking oil to fry the chicken. Oil must not be too much so that the chicken will have a grill or char-boil look.
3. Turn the chicken around while frying. If it is not cook in the center, use a knife and slightly slice through the center. Fry chicken breast until golden brown.
4. Sprinkle some lemon juice on the chicken and it is ready to be served.

and this is the appetizer with side decor some more. Haha... not bad not bad.

Lemon Tempura Prawn Recipe:
30 pcs prawns
1 lemon juice
1 cup tempura powder

1. Mix tempura powder with water until it turn into a batter.
2. Dip prawn into lemon and then dip into the tempura batter.
3. Fry it in a wok with preheated cooking oil.
4. Fry until golden and ready to be served.

Smooth and creamy mash potato. What i can say... It's finger licking good. Haha... this is self praising.

Mash Potato Recipe:
6 holland potatoes
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbs olive oil
salt
mayonnaise

1. Peel and cook potatoes in boiling water until soft.
2. Mash potatoes. Put in pepper, olive oil, mayonnaise and salt to taste.
3. Mash potatoes into smooth puree and it is ready to be serve.

When every thing comes together...

Last but not least.... my lovely parfaits.

Parfait
1 tub vanilla ice-cream
oreo cookies
banana slice into coin
corn flakes

1. Put in a scoop of ice-cream into a tall glass.
2. Topped with corn flakes.
3. Put in another layer of ice-cream and topped with crunched oreo cookies.
4. Then another layer of ice-cream and topped with sliced banana.
5. Repeat the above method until glass is full.
6. Decorate with halved oreo cookie and chocolate rice.

On the next day, we still had Nasi Lemak for breakfast. But this time it is cooked by momo. I had a second helping of that Nasi Lemak. There are no pictures of that Nasi Lemak coz everyone is busy eating.

It's a wonderful weekend that we had together. M looking forward for another outing. Cheers~
